Vestibular Physiotherapy

Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) is an exercise-based treatment program designed to promote vestibular adaptation and substitution. The goals of VRT are 1) to enhance gaze stability, 2) to enhance postural stability, 3) to improve vertigo, and 4) to improve activities of daily living.

Victoria Twanow has been an active runner and fitness enthusiast for over 10 years. She shares her love of movement with others through teaching Group Fitness.

Being an active part of Edmonton’s running scene she noticed that her fellow athletes were all prone to the same injuries and ailments. She began exploring ways she could help both prevent and treat these injuries. This led her down the path of massage therapy. She began her formal education at Makami College in the fall of 2019. The training she received as a student opened her eyes to massage therapy as being more than just a way to treat injuries. Through massage one can treat the physical, mental and emotional self!

After graduation, she joined Chenghua hospital in the department of acupuncture and practised there for 4 years, then relocated to Jiaotong Hospital and became the director of the acupuncture department.

Chiropractor

Dr. Braich was born and raised in Edmonton. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

Dr. Braich enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and sports. In his youth, he played elite level soccer with the Alberta provincial teams as well as the Canadian national teams. During his years at the U of A, Dr. Braich also captained the U of A Golden Bears varsity soccer team. Throughout his soccer career, he relied on regular chiropractic care to maintain optimal health and performance. It is during this time that he gained a true understanding of the impact chiropractic care can have on one’s overall health and well-being.
