Aisling (“Ash-ling”) is a Registered Dietitian (RD) specializing in digestive health and intuitive eating. She uses evidence-based strategies to help clients fuel their bodies to help recover from injuries, improve their relationship with food, and manage various health conditions. Aisling also has a keen interest in how nutrition can support brain health, having personally suffered from concussions and migraines in the past. With 10 years of outpatient clinical experience under her belt, Aisling is passionate about helping her clients find new ways to nourish their bodies and discover the power of nutrition.
Aisling has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science with a Specialization in Dietetics from the University of Alberta, and is registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Alberta. In her clinical role with Alberta Health Services, Aisling supports individuals living with cancer.
Aisling’s passion for nutrition started as a teenager when she was competitively Irish dancing and realized how a change in food could help fuel her body better. Perhaps not surprising for a dietitian, she loves food, and in her free time she enjoys testing new recipes on her family and friends, trying new restaurants (which is much harder with a toddler!), gardening and yoga. And ice cream – she really loves ice cream.
